Extrusion
Aluminum extrusion is a process that includes pushing a cylindrical aluminum alloy material through a specified cross-sectional shape (die). The powerful ram pushes the aluminum through the die and out of the die holes.

Various Shapes of Aluminium Extrusion
There are 3 main shapes that can be extruded, namely:
- Solid shapes: solid bars and rods with various cross-sections.
- Semi-solid shapes: such as angles, channels, and other partially open forms.
- Hollow shapes: tubes or profiles with various cross-sections.
